Oven Roasted Pork Chops

Cooking Pork Chops in the oven can be a great alternative to those who don't have access to a BBQ.  You can achieve a tender, juicy and succulent pork chop.


Ingredients

  • 3-4 tablespoons Grants Gourmet Jerk Seasoning

  • 6 pieces or 1 kg grams Pork Chops

  • 1 tablespoons olive oil

  • salt and pepper to taste (optional)


Instructions

Marinate

  1. Wash and Dab Pork Chops with a paper towel to remove excess moisture 

  2. Combine Grants Gourmet Jerk Seasoning with Pork Chops in a zip lock bag and work in the seasoning to the meat.

  3. Marinate for at least 1/2 hr or longer

Cook

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Sprinkle the pan with the olive oil

  2. Place the pork chops in the pan and place on the middle rack for approx 25-30 minutes or until the meat reaches 71°C (160°F).

  3. Broil 2-3 minutes to crisp if needed. This will give the meat its beautiful colour.
